Overall objective: To develop a novel floating photocatalyst with synergic adsorption function applicable for solar photocatalytic detoxification of surface water contaminated by nonpolar organic pollutants. It should be cheap and easily manufactured on an industrial scale.
Specific objectives:
1)Research and test in the laboratory the material of floating photocatalyst with synergic adsorption function that is synthesized from cheap materials and highly effective in the treatment of water resource contaminated by nonpolar organic pollutants.
2)Propose the industrial scale production process of novel floating photocatalyst with synergic adsorption function.
3)Apply the photocatalytic material of the project to treat water resource contaminated by nonpolar organicpollutants on the pilot scale under real condition of Vietnam
