+ Composting manure:
Compost made from livestock waste (pigs, chickens, buffaloes, cows) combined with crop by-products (straw, corn stalks, rice husks, etc.) using biological products (certified products) containing beneficial microorganisms such as microorganisms that decompose cellulose, starch, and protein to compost manure, applying the process of using organic materials and organic fertilizers to produce some types of organic vegetables in the Northern provinces
+ Sow soybeans in the winter crop as green manure:
- In the Northern midland and mountainous provinces and the Red River Delta, after harvesting the Summer-Autumn rice soybeans sowed in winter before October 15 on flat or high ground, without needing to till the soil, and then cover the seeds with soil or stubble. The amount of seeds to sow is about 50-60 kg per hectare. When the soybeans are in full bloom, plow the soil and crush the entire soybean stem and leaves.
- In the North Central provinces, due to heavy rains causing flooding, soybeans or green manure crops are not sown in the winter crop.
+ Scope of application:
- The process is applied to organic rice production areas that are centrally planned by the locality and fully meet the conditions on soil quality and water quality and other requirements according to Vietnamese standards on organic agriculture.
- The process is applied in areas with livestock waste, crop by-products, biological products for composting manure and treating straw from the previous crop, and a source of industrial organic fertilizer. The Northern mountainous region and the Red River Delta need soybean seeds for planting as green manure in the winter crop./.
