Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Thi Thu Cuc is one of the initiators of the movement of safe vegetables. Over 30 years with the University, working closely with farmers, she had over 30 research on vegetables with high application generating efficiency in production for farmers.

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Tram has completed various valuable scientific works, compiled over 40 textbooks, creating valuable rice varieties for Vietnamese agriculture. She helped poor farmers increase their yield by 10 to 15 percent.

She was either leader or a member of 22 state and ministerial level research projects. She has had a total of 105 scientific articles published in local and international scientific journals, in which there are 29 articles published on ISI indexed journals.She, is known as the youngest professor in the history of veterinary medicine and also the youngest women receiving theKovalevskaya Award of VNUA. She received the UVY Honorary Fellowship and has become the visiting professor of Yamaguchi University, Japan since 2015, and currently the chairman of the Asian Societyof VeterinaryPathology. Many of her works have been widely recognized and successfully applied and transferred such as quick test kits to detect the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome virus (PRRS), also known as blue-ear pig disease, and the vaccine against fever in dogs, microbial products in animal production. She is also a co-author of two important procedures, namely the diagnosis process for infectious hepatitis in chickens and the prevention and treatment process for infectious hepatitis in chickens.

Over 35 years of working Assoc. Prof. Dr Ngo Thi Thuan trained thousands of students, successfully mentored many graduate and doctoral students. She was editors and co-editors of a number of textbooks and leaders of many research projects.
