Bachelor of Crops Science

Objectives: 

Bachelor program of Crops Science aims

·  To train agricultural engineers with political moral qualification and good health;

·  To equip students with comprehensive knowledge of crops science and provide them practical skills in crops production and modern agricultural techniques in cultivation, crops breeding, biotechnology and plant protection;

·   To enable students speak English fluently and master basic computer skills.

Duration:  4.5 years 

Total required credits: 191 credits

Pupils graduated from high-school

Qualified students must pass the university entrance exam with 3 subjects: Math, chemistry and biology following the enrolment regulation of Ministry of Education and Training, and passed an English test.

 Training process and graduation conditions 

Training programs are built based on the training program of crops science of the University of California, UC Davis., one of the top public research universities in the United State. Lecturers are professors who have high expertise in teaching and research. They all pursued their higher education in America, Japan and Holland and used to work there.  The lectures are also given by professors of the University of California, UC Davis.

The training process complies with credit system of education. Students must complete all compulsory subjects and elective subjects with a total of 191 credits. Students must pass 5.0 marks following the 10 mark bench. In addition, the students must complete an internship course and fulfill a thesis.
