Announcement ceremony on the decision to nominate vice-presidents of Vietnam National University of Agriculture and the heads of subordinate units

On 23rd May, 2016, Vietnam National University of Agriculture held a ceremony to announce the decision to nominate vice-presidents and the heads of subordinate units.Attending the ceremony were Mr. Vu Tuan Dung, member of Hanoi People’s Committee, and party secretary of Hanoi Universities and Colleges; Mr. Nguyen Quy Duong, deputy director of Department of Plant Protection, Ministry of Agriculture
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Duong, director of the Personnel Office, announced decisions on reappointing Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tat Canh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Trach as vice-presidents of the University, and announced decisions on dismissing staff and nominating the leaders of faculties, offices, and centers under the University during the period of 2016- 2021.

The Party Committee’s secretary, President Nguyen Thi Lan, Board of Trustees’ Chairman Tran Duc Vien, and members of the Presidency Board offered the decisions on nominating the vice- presidents and the leaders of subordinate units, and presented flowers to the unit leaders who had reached the maximum management age or completed their working term.

President Nguyen Thi Lan congratulated and entrusted tasks to the nominated leaders, and expressed the desire that they will always strive to complete their duties to contribute to the growth of Vietnam National University of Agriculture as it becomes a prestigious and high quality educational and scientific research unit both domestically and regionally.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Viet Ha, dean of faculty of land management, expressed her thanks and that she looked forward to receiving close direction from the Party Committee, Board of Trustees, and Presidency Board, and the assistance of officials and staff of units. She also swore that she would strive to devote her abilities, intelligence, and confidence to support and uphold the achievements and traditions of previous generations, and encouraged the leaders of units to unite and combine forces to meet the general objectives that stabilize and develop the power of the University.
