Training and agricultural practice programs in Israel in 2015 attracted more than 100 applicants and 71 students were selected to attend a training program for 10-11 months at the agricultural research center in Israel. The Director of the Ramat Negev Center also discussed the specialized plans for VNUA students during the period of 2016-2017. Research collaboration between Ben-Gurion Negev University and the Faculty of Biotechnology at VNUA in the field of seaweed was also initiated. After the general discussion, the Israeli delegation continued work in smaller groups with the Vietnamese partners. Experts from the University of Ben-Gurion Negev visited and exchanged a 2016 cooperation plan with the Faculty of Biotechnology. In coordination with OLECO Company and VNUA, the Ramat Negev Center organized an introduction to the training and agricultural practices program to be held in Israel in 2016. The introduction received a great deal of attention and opened the exchange of opinions and discussion among many VNUA students. Students who study and work in Israel not only improve their professional knowledge and get acquainted with advanced and modern agricultural technology, but also gain experience and practice in agricultural production on the farms there. They also have the opportunity to practice English and gain new life skills in addition to exchanging culture and visiting many scenic spots in Israel.
