On February 20, 2023 at Meeting room 1, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) held a meeting to discuss and propose the cooperation project to strengthen training and scientific research capacity for the Faculty of Biotechnology, VNUA, between the university’s staff and the delegation of Chonnam National University, South Korea.

Overview of the meeting
In the open atmosphere of the meeting, MSc. Le Thi Bich Lien, Vice Director of the International Cooperation Office, VNUA gave a speech to welcome the delegation to visit and work at VNUA. At the same time, MSc. Le Thi Bich Lien also expressed her hope that the cooperation relationship between the two parties would develop further and achieve more concrete results in training activities, scientific research and other fields of mutual interest.

Following that, the representative of Chonnam National University, Professor Oksoo Han, expressed his pleasure and wished that the cooperation relationship between the two universities would continue to be maintained and developed more sustainably. During this business trip, Professor Oksoo Han, on behalf of the project team, presented basic information about the ODA project. The project was built to strengthen the human resource capacity for the Faculty of Biotechnology to develop sustainable biotechnology, upgrade facilities, transfer technology and gradually deploy agricultural products and safe food testing and analysis services, helping VNUA to develop excellent, professional and globally competitive human resources.

The meeting took place effectively, both parties agreed to jointly accelerate the process so that the project would be approved soon in order to strengthen the cooperation relationship between the two universities and bring positive results for VNUA in general and the Faculty of Biotechnology in particular, as well as for Chonnam National University, Korea.
