A strong motivation for students to strive for excellence in learning
On the morning of December 27, 2025, VNUA held the 2025 Scholarship Award Ceremony, honoring nearly 300 outstanding students.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep, VNUA’s Vice President, emphasized that scholarship programs sponsored by enterprises, banks, and foundations not only provided financial support—especially for students from disadvantaged backgrounds—but also served as an important source of motivation, encouraging students to overcome difficulties and strive for excellence in learning, scientific research, and comprehensive personal development.
Each year, the total value of scholarships awarded to VNUA students amounted to tens of billions of VND. These scholarships were granted in various forms, including centralized award ceremonies as well as multiple rounds throughout the year, and became both a vital financial resource and a significant source of encouragement for the students.

“This represents a highly commendable partnership between the business community and higher education, contributing to the nurturing of students’ dreams and aspirations,” Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep affirmed.
In recent years, VNUA had been at the forefront of organizational restructuring and innovation in management and governance, moving toward an autonomous, multidisciplinary university model aligned with the orientation of a leading research university in the region.
The university aimed to become a national center of excellence in innovation, human resource training, scientific research, knowledge application, and technological development in the fields of agriculture and rural development.

Currently, VNUA maintained cooperative relationships with more than 200 enterprises, banks, and foundations, both domestic and international, at both the university and faculty levels. Notably, ten enterprises had signed comprehensive cooperation agreements with VNUA under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
These collaborations covered various areas, including education and training, scientific research, technology transfer, and workforce recruitment, with scholarship provision considered a particularly meaningful activity with strong social impact.
Expressing his pride in the students, Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep acknowledged that many recipients had demonstrated remarkable perseverance, overcoming challenging circumstances to achieve outstanding academic results and thus deserved the scholarships awarded. He encouraged students to continue considering those scholarships as motivation to strive for even greater success in their academic and professional journeys.

This was the source of the motivation that enabled her to continuously enhance her professional knowledge, improve research skills, and actively participate in academic and practical activities within the field of Food Science and Technology.
“This encouragement reinforces my determination to study more seriously, creatively, and responsibly, in order to live up to the trust of the university, my lecturers, and my family,” Quynh Trang emphasized, affirming her commitment to contributing positively to the student community and the discipline she had chosen.
