Promoting cooperation with the Agreenium, France

On 9 Dec 2014, the Agreenium, a French legal entity bringing together the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (Inra), the French Agricultural Research Center for Development (Cirad), the Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food, and Environmental Sciences (AgroParisTech), the Institute for Higher Education in Agricultural, Agrifood, Horticultural and Landscape Sciences (Agrocampus Ouest), the International Centre for Higher Education in Agricultural Sciences (Montpellier SupAgro), and the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT), paid an official visit to Vietnam National University of Agriculture. Representative leaders of the International Cooperation Office, the faculties of Animal Science and Aquaculture, Economics and Rural Development, and Food Science and Technology warmly welcomed the delegation.

At the meeting, the two sides shared general information about their capacity of training and research, and discussed potential cooperation. Then, the delegation visited the Faculty of Animal Science and Aquaculture, and the Faculties of Food Science and Technology.

It is expected that the meeting would strengthen the existing bilateral cooperation and reveal new interests and potential cooperation with not only the Agreenium but also other partners in France.
