 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan opened the workshop

In her opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Acting President of VNUA affirmed that developing national dairy and beef products has become an urgent and necessary task in the recent context. She expected that the workshop was a forum for scientists and relevant stakeholders to share latest information and findings about the status- quo and potential development of the national dairy and beef products in Vietnam which thereby formed a close linkage and collaboration of authorities, institutes, universities and enterprises in creation of the national dairy and beef products for Vietnam and facilitating commercialization and trademark recognition for Vietnamese products.

\r\n

More than 30 reports focusing on current issues such as orientation for development of national products in the 2012 -2020 period,  production of beef and dairy in Vietnam under TPP, quality control and food safety of dairy products etc were presented at the workshop. It was also a venue for managers, scientists and tradesmen in Vietnam to advance an effective development, bridge business cooperation, and promote import and export of local beef and dairy industries.
