On 8 October 2026, Viet Nam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) will host the International Conference on AgriVision 2026 under the theme “Shaping the Future of Agriculture through Policy, Technology and Innovation,” as part of the University’s 70th Anniversary celebrations (1956-2026).

AgriVision 2026 will provide an international platform for scientists, academic leaders, policymakers, international organisations, development partners and practitioners to exchange knowledge on emerging trends, technologies and policy directions shaping the future of agriculture.

The programme will include one Plenary Session, two Scientific Sessions and one specialised Roundtable, together with selected scientific presentations and posters.

Session 1 - Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Crop Production will focus on next-generation breeding, genomics and gene editing, biotechnology, sustainable crop protection, climate-smart agriculture, AI and digital agriculture, low-emission production, circular agriculture and the bioeconomy.

Session 2 - Climate-Smart Livestock, Aquaculture and One Health will cover biotechnology, precision breeding, digital transformation, climate adaptation, greenhouse-gas mitigation, disease prevention, biosecurity, antimicrobial resistance and One Health.

A specialised Roundtable on Research Excellence, Internationalisation and Scholarly Publishing will discuss approaches to strengthening research capacity, international collaboration and the development of scientific journals towards international standards.

The Conference is expected to feature scientists and experts from leading universities, research institutes and international organisations, including China Agricultural University, Wageningen University & Research, Kansas State University, Chonnam National University, Gyeongsang National University, CIRAD, IRRI, ILRI and FAO.

Call for Papers

Researchers, academics, professionals and postgraduate students are warmly invited to submit abstracts to AgriVision 2026.

·    Selected abstracts will be included in the AgriVision 2026 Book of Abstracts

A full manuscript is not required before the Conference. Following AgriVision 2026, invited speakers and authors of selected high-quality contributions will be encouraged to further develop their presentations into full manuscripts for possible submission to the Vietnam Journal of Agricultural Sciences (VJAS), subject to the Journal’s independent editorial screening and peer-review process.
