Vietnam National University of Agriculture and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 4 April 2017 in Hanoi at the celebration ceremony of the 50th anniversary of the CIAT. The MOU aims at (1) promoting cooperation in the implementation of programs and projects and research and training activities relevant to the conditions of the two parties, (2) exchanging academic information and publications (3) exchanging of staff and students through collaborative training and scientific research activities, and (4) sharing benefits of intellectual property rights of science and technology products produced by the two parties.

At the signing ceremony, CIAT Director General, Dr. Dindo Campilan, and Assoc. Prof Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, President of VNUAboth affirmed the importance of an official cooperation between VNUA and the CIAT in research and training to contribute to agricultural development in Vietnam and the region.
