In the joyful atmosphere of the early days of the New Year 2026, on January 20 and 21, 2026, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) solemnly held the Closing Ceremony and awarded Bachelor’s degrees to 938 fresh graduates.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University; leaders of faculties, departments, institutes, centers, and affiliated companies of the University; and a large number of students’ parents. In particular, the event was honored by the presence of 938 newly graduated engineers, bachelors, and veterinarians.
Overview of the Ceremony
In his address at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep extended his warmest congratulations to graduates. He affirmed that the diploma conferred today is not only a testament for students’ competence, but also a symbol of willpower and determination of a generation who are ready to shoulder the future of our nation.
He expressed his hope that, wherever they may be and whatever careers they pursue, the graduates will always carry with them the distinctive cultural values of VNUA students with a warm heart, a spirit lifelong learning, a pure and noble soul, and an enduring aspiration to contribute and devote themselves to the future of the nation.
He encouraged the graduates to live up to their proud heritage as descendants of Lady Trieu, embodying her great national aspiration: “I wish to ride the mighty wind, cleave the fierce waves, and slay the sea monsters in the Eastern Sea…”.

On behalf of the fresh graduates, Ms. Chu Hai Yen, who has achieved Excellent distinction in Accounting, expressed her profound gratitude to the Party Committee, the Presidency Board, lecturers, and administrative staff for their wholehearted guidance and support throughout the years of study at VNUA.
Hai Yen affirmed that the journey at the university is not merely a process of accumulating professional knowledge, but also a mature in personality, resilience, and aspiration to contribute to society. During the time at the university, students have had the opportunity to study in a modern, dynamic, and professional environment, engaging in scientific research, and participating in community activities, valuable preparations for their confidence to embark on their future careers.
She also expressed her strong determination to continue learning and self-improvement, to constantly innovate, uphold professional ethics, and carry forward the proud traditions of VNUA students, thereby contributing to national and local development and living up to the trust and expectations of the University, its lecturers, and society.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the University’s leadership and heads of affiliated units conferred graduation diplomas upon the students. The moment when the new engineers, bachelors, and veterinarians held their diplomas in their hands marked the close of their university journey and the beginning of a new chapter of their careers, engaging in productive work, and pursuing creativity.
