Circoviruses has been detected in diverse species, including sus scrofa. To date, only PCV2 is demonstrated as a causative agent of porcine circovirus associated diseases. In 2015, a novel circovirus (Porcine circovirus 3, PCV3) was detected for the first time from pigs suffered from porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome and reproductive failure. Since then, PCV3 has been reported in several pig producing countries. This study was carrying out in order to investigate the presence and the prevalence of PCV3 in the pig populations in northern Vietnam. The screening PCR detected the presence of PCV3 in 6 out of 135 samples (4.44%) which were collected at 7 Northern provinces in 2011 and 2016-2017. There were 5 out of 6 field strains were successfully sequenced. The capsid coding gene (ORF2) of 5 strains were 642 bases in length, contained 39 point nucleotide mutations and 9 mutations were non-synonymous. The phylogenetic analysis on the basic of ORF2 gene suggested that 5 Vietnamese PCV3 strains belong to PCV3a genetic cluster. Of which, 4 out of 5 strains clustered closely with Chinese PCV3 strains

Chicken infectious anemia virus (CIAV) and its related disease is well known in all major poultry- producing countries. Despite of that, there are a few studies about the disease and molecular characterization of CIAV in Vietnam. This report described an investigation result of the prevalence of CIAV in Hanoi and surrounding provinces. By PCR method, the virus was frequently detected which 92.86% of sampling farms and 50.81% of tested samples were CIAV positive. The analyses of capsid protein coding gene revealed two genetic groups (group 2 and 3) of CIAV circulating in investigated areas. It was also demonstrated that all field strains of CIAV differed from the vaccine strains (Cux-1, P4 and 3711)

Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia volubilis L.) is native to the Amazon Rainforest, a semi-evergreen tree that grows once for 15-20 years. Some Peruvian researchers suggest that the yield of Sacha Inchi is low (0.7-1 ton / ha), the second year is 2-3 tons / ha, the third year yields are more stable ( 3-4 tons / ha), the gardens have high nutrition, irrigation can rationalize over 4 tons from 5-10 years continuous. Sacha inchi is very good because of the high content of omega-3s (48%), omega-6 (33.5%) and omega 9 (9%), the protein content is 27-33% in the grain, causing Sacha Inchi to be The processing of high-end products (ω 3-6-9 capsules, protein powder, Sacha Inchi chocolates, Sacha Inchi tea, hair lotion) from the Sacha Inchi is a health food that has been confirmed by many scientists around the world. The leaves contain a very large amount of calcium if used to make tea will help calcium is very good for women, the elderly. And people who need to supplement calcium for the body, a new study has shown that this plant also has active substances that prevent cancer effectively.

With the development of media, students use social networking increasingly popular. In particular, online social networking sites help students interact, form and extend social relationships. How does the student's social network in the digital space scale and the degree of alignment between students and the network components? Based on the results of the survey of 215 student samples, including 112 female and 103 male students from Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), the article shows that the social network of students in the digital space is quite diverse. The results also show a strong, weak link in the social network of students in the digital space, some of the differences and challenges posed in the social networking of male and female students at VNUA.

Using video clips to improve the quality of teaching and learning English language skills has been
studied extensively. The obvious benefit is that students can get feedback from viewers and listeners to improve their speaking skills. Through the application of video recording for learning English speaking, we found that students became more confident, more flexible in communication. Their grades also increase correspondingly for these learning activities.

Argument is widely applied in teaching speaking skills in the world, however, at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, this is still relatively new and has not actually been researched and applied. The act of continuation, connection, opposing, supporting, reinforcing arguments with statistic, quotes making arguments more realistic is always one of the criteria for debating activities that can help students improve their English speaking skills. The experimental results show that students' speaking skills are improved based on a number of criteria such as the amount of used vocabulary, cohesion and coherence sentence, interaction. Future pedagogical experiments may further investigate the retention of speaking performance, vocabulary resource and language performance of learners in both short and long term.

Survey of 270 students of Biotechnology, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine K61 of VNUA participated in a survey on motivation for choosing jobs and learning motivation. Practical research results show that most students choose careers and participate in training at the University. Students who choose careers and learning come from dominant internal motives, namely most of them choose jobs that come from hobbies, abilities and especially the need to explore that profession. However, many students rely on family orientation. Subjective factors related to the positivity, students' learning sense are factors that strongly influence their learning motivation.

|
The corn dryer powered by gas deducted from burning agricultural residues SN – 1.0 has been designed and manufactured at Department of Food engineering, Vietnam National University of Agriculture. It is designed according to new principle using screw that placed vertically in drying bin to allow cyclic motion of drying materials inside the drying bin.
Experiment have been conducted to determine effects of temperature and flow of drying airflow, velocity of screw to the dryness, drying time and fuel cost. Experimental result shows that materials dryness increases thanks to continuous stirring of materials during drying process, allowing moisture from center of corn seed can easily diffuse to the surface and vaporize. The capability of removal moisture is increased contributing to reduce drying time as well as fuel cost.
Key words: Synthesis gas, specific fuel consumption

|
The drying machine type screw powered by syngas derived from incinerator for agricultural by-product SN-1.0 has been studied for use in drying corn and other agricultural nuDR. This drying equipment uses screw to cyclically transport materials inside drying chamber, where heat is provided by incineration of syngas. Hence, the quality of drying product is improved whilst the drying cost and time are reduced.
Experimental results determined the optimal value of inputs: temperature of airflow T = 78oC, airflow rate Q = 2428 m3/h, rotary speed of screw n = 61 rpm; the optimal value of outputs: product dryness K = 99,29%, drying timet= 6,77 hours, fuel cost Mr = 0,3(kg fuel/kg water).
The above results are the important basis to complete the design and manufacture of corn drying machine with various sizes to fit different scales of planDR.

This paper present the results of the study on the use of traditional diesel fuel Jatropha +diesel for D8 diesel engine in agro-forestry prodution in our country. Mixture of blends: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 60% of jatropha oil with base diesl tested with D8 engine on the hydrostatic brake of the Faculty of engineering – Vietnam National University ofAgriculture . By analyzingthe non-engine characteristics of the fuel mixture using the jatropha fuel mixture using the original diesel fuel, it was found that jatropha oil had the perfect fuel properties for use in small diesl engine. D8 diesel engine, when used with a mixture of 10% jatropha oil has absolutely no effect on power characteristics and torque of the engine. Research has shown that it is possible to use a 20% Jatroph oil blend without the need to adjust the supply angle for early fuel pumps.

Vietnam Journal of Agricultural Science
|
The rice straw after harvest need to cut and dry before collection and storage. Large volume of rice straw to be handled in a short time requires mechanical operation. At present, the collection system was established, but the number, types and features remained limited and mainly used to collect straws after harvest. The article introduces the basis for the establishment and construction of a rational working mode of the windrow straw harvester. The machine system was designed on the basis of combining two-wheeled tractor power and rice harvesting device widely used today. With this solution, a windrow straw harvester can be quickly constructed with a reasonable working mode, meeting the practical requirements and raising the efficiency of agricultural production.
