Over the years, partnerships established between VNUA and Australian universities are quite diverse and widespread in many areas. In specifics, from 2010 to 2014, VNUA signed and worked out 05 MOU with Australia partners, implemented 03 projects funded by the Centre for International Agricultural Research Australia (ACIAR). In addition, 52 VNUA lecturers and researchers were sent to Australia to pursue postgraduate programs.

To continue such fruitful cooperation outcomes, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lan suggested that the two sides should expand and develop strategic partnerships through development of student and staff exchange programs such as New Colombo Plan, an initiative of the Australian Government, to support Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships at VNUA. The partners should also take consideration into sending visiting lecturers to deliver lectures for advanced training programs offered by VNUA. VNUA staff and students should be sent to Australian universities to attend short training courses for capacity building too. On the basis of the "Declaration on Strengthening the Vietnam-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" issued on 20 March 2015, VNUA and Australian partners should develop collaborative programs with focus in the fields of agriculture, food technology, business administration, economics, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, and environment.

End of the meeting, they all affirmed their strong supports and commitment to boosting cooperation in various areas in which the two parties highly concerned.
