On the morning of December 18, 2025, at the Center of Excellence for Research and Innovation, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) organized an exhibition of paintings showcasing technological achievements in the agricultural sector of the Argentine Republic. The event was held to introduce the country’s achievements, advancements, and export potential in agriculture.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam and representatives of the Embassy of Argentina. Participants from VNUA included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Party Secretary and President of the University, leaders of functional offices, specialized faculties, research groups, as well as lecturers, students, and international students.

Mr. Marcos Antonio Bednarski, Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam, delivers a speech at the event.

Speaking at the event, the Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam stated that “We currently have significant cooperation with Vietnam through a number of projects, ranging from rice cultivation and soybean production to innovation in the dairy industry. Our objective is to diversify and expand these cooperative projects. Vietnam is the country that receives the greatest amount of support and technical cooperation in the region; therefore, presenting Argentina’s achievements and the ways in which we can contribute will provide an important foundation for fostering more sustainable cooperation between the two countries.”

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Party Secretary and President of Vietnam National University of Agriculture, presents a commemorative gift to the Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam.

VNUA’s President affirmed that the event was of great practical significance in strengthening international cooperation, contributing to the promotion of professional exchange, scientific research, and the transfer of agricultural technologies between VNUA and Argentine partners in the coming years.

The exhibition features a wide range of carefully selected artistic photographs presented across three main themes, including “Food,” “Floriculture,” and “Veterinary Medicine.” Most of these photographs were selected from a photography contest showcasing crop varieties researched and developed by the National Institute of Agricultural Technology of Argentina (INTA).

The Ambassador of Argentina shares insights into the paintings featured in the exhibition.

The works displayed at the exhibition not only vividly depict research achievements related to key crops such as maize, cotton, garlic, sunflower, and sugarcane, but also introduce unique hybrid ornamental plant varieties developed from indigenous genetic resources, along with advanced technologies and technical services in the field of veterinary medicine. The photographs were evaluated based on criteria including creativity, composition, image quality, and visual impact, thereby highlighting Argentina’s breakthroughs in agriculture, the food industry, and agricultural biotechnology.
