In a jubilant atmosphere to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam National University of Agriculture (October 12, 1956 - October 12, 2020), 38 years of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - 20/11/2020), in the morning of October 16, 2020, at Hall A, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year and welcomed nearly 5,000 freshmen of batch 65 to the university.
Cultural performances to open the Ceremony
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy Head of Internal Political Security Division (PA03), Hanoi City Police, Mr. Chay Navuth - Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Vietnam, Mr. Tito Lidimba - Second Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Vietnam, Mr. José da Piedade Gonçalves - Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Vietnam, Mr. Kham Phan Kham On - Counselor of Culture and Education of the Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Laos in Vietnam and representatives of leaders of companies and businesses sponsoring scholarships to the university.
On the side of VNUA, there are Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, President, Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Vien Chairman of Board of Trustees along with representatives of Party Committee, Board of Trustees, Board of Presidency, Trade Union, Youth Union, Student Union, functional offices, faculties, staff and more than 500 representative students.
In her speech to open the new school year 2020-2021, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan affirmed that the achievements accomplished in the 2019-2020 school year will be impetus for the new school year. She highly appreciated efforts and expected continuing determinations of all VNUA staff and students in the new school year.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chien, Deputy General Director of C.P. Livestock Joint Stock Company Vietnam congratulates freshmen who have been admitted to VNUA. Over the years, thousands of VNUA students have been recruited to the company and many of them are holding key positions in companies.
