Mr. Cao Duc Phat - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vice Chairman of the Commission for Economy shared that "Besides the great benefits of the process of agricultural and rural development, there are still significant differences in income, living conditions, and especially development opportunities between farmers in villages and urban citizens. In the future, due to climate change, aging population, extensive international integration, and the development of science and technology, people in the rural areas will face many new opportunities and challenges. They will either become non-agricultural labour and urban citizens or professional farmers with the help of modern equipment and technology. This great revolution, therefore, needs appropriate research for reasonable development policies and strategies”.
