Exchange Student Program with the University of Nagoya, Japan

Implementating the Student Exchange Program signed in January 2015 between the University of Nagoya, Japan and Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), the Faculty of Agronomy (FOA), VNUA organized successfully the 2nd Student Exchange Program with the participation of 10 students and postgraduates from both universities during 28th Jan to 30th Jan, 2016.

Participation in the program was a good opportunity for students to acquire precious knowledge about agricultural production of Vietnam especially on the main plants through lectures of experienced lecturers of the FOA. In addition, students had a chance to visit agricultural production farms to withness agricultural activities in some areas such as planting forage crops farm for dairy in Ba Vi, Hanoi, pot flower planting farm in Van Giang, Hung Yen, ornamental trees farm for Tet holiday (Quat tree, peach tree), chickens and pigs farms in Khoai Chau, Hung Yen. After the field visits, the participating students had presentations on what they saw and learnt from the field with intensive discussions. They were all highly appreciated by their mentors.

This Student Exchange Program was a good opportunity for the participating students to enhance their practical knowledge about agricultural production, improve foreign language skills and build frienship with foreign friends.
