Through the process of self-assessment and continuous quality improvement, the four undergraduate training programs of Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) in Animal Science, Biotechnology, Food Technology and Environmental Science were successfully accredited by the AUN-QA in October 2021. Up to now, VNUA has had a total of 06 training programs certified to meet the AUN-QA standards.

The inspection was held online due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic. However, with the strict evaluation system and process of AUN-QA and the professional, serious, transparent and fair work of AUN-QA experts from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, the inspection was carried out according to the schedule and the required process and ended on October 29, 2021. After 5 months of evaluating the results of the external assessment, in April 2022, the AUN Council granted the AUN-QA quality standard recognition certificates to four VNUA’s training programs, including Bachelor of Animal Science, Bachelor of Biotechnology, Bachelor of Food Technology, and Bachelor of Environmental Science. The standards most appreciated by the council included expected learning outcomes, training program content, facilities and quality of student output.

In order to continuously improve the quality of training and to meet the society's demand for high-quality human resources and international integration, VNUA’s training programs were regularly self-evaluated, reviewed and improved according to domestic and international standards.
