As part of the Capacity Building Project for Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) to Enhance Human Resources for Vietnam's Livestock Sector (KOICA_VNUA Project), three students from the Faculty of Animal Science, VNUA, including Ngo Minh Hieu, Hoang Thanh Lam, and Ta Ngoc Bich—successfully completed a one-semester student exchange program at Konkuk University, Republic of Korea. During the four-month exchange, the students not only had the opportunity to study and strengthen their professional knowledge in an international academic environment but also gained invaluable cultural experiences.
At Konkuk University, the students participated in the university's advanced academic programs, where they were exposed to innovative teaching methods and modern facilities. This experience enabled them to acquire new professional knowledge, particularly in the fields of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. The exchange program served as an important stepping stone, broadening their perspectives and enhancing their confidence in pursuing future career opportunities.

In addition to their academic studies, the students had the opportunity to attend the Korea International Livestock EXPO 2025, one of the country's premier international exhibitions for the livestock industry. The exhibition showcased many of the latest technologies and innovations in modern livestock production. Through on-site visits, hands-on experiences, and interactions with cutting-edge technologies, the students gained valuable practical insights that complemented their academic learning. The experience broadened their understanding of global trends in the livestock sector, strengthened their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world production, and inspired them to contribute to the advancement of Vietnam's livestock industry by adopting and adapting innovative technologies and best practices.

Beyond academics, the exchange program also provided the students with an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture of the Republic of Korea. They enjoyed memorable visits to the historic city of Andong, renowned for its cultural heritage, and experienced the vibrant atmosphere of Seoul, the nation's dynamic capital. The students also explored famous districts such as Myeong-dong, Hongdae, and Itaewon, gaining first-hand insights into Korean culture, cuisine, and the contemporary lifestyle of the country's younger generation.

The exchange semester in the Republic of Korea came to a close, leaving the three students with cherished memories and invaluable experiences. We wish them every success as they continue to build on the knowledge, skills, and international perspectives they have gained through this program. May these experiences serve as a strong foundation for their future academic and professional achievements.
