Awarding 10 Korcham scholarships worth to VND 100 million to students of Vietnam National University of Agriculture

On 17^th December in Hanoi, the Korean Embassy in Vietnam in collaboration with the Korean Chamber of Business in Vietnam (KORCHAM) organized the 2018 CSR Korean Entrepreneur Night and the Scholarship Award Ceremony "2018 Sharing Hands.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tat Canh, Vice President of VNUA, Mrs. Le Thi Bich Lien, Vice Director of International Cooperation Office, Mr. Vu Van Tuan, Vice Director of Political and Student Affairs Office participated in the event. Besides, the event received the attendance of  the Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Kim Do-Hyon, representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People's Committee of Hanoi, representatives of 58 Korean enterprises in Vietnam and 90 students receiving the scholarships “2018 Sharing Hands”

At the Scholarship Awards Ceremony 2018, Korean enterprises awarded 90 scholarships worth to VND 900 million to 90 students. These students are nominated by the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Planning and Investment; the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People's Committee of Hanoi, the External Relations Department of Quang Tri province, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union which are the organizations and agencies supporting Korean enterprises a lot during their operation in Vietnam. Ten VNUA students, whose families are facing difficult circumstances in life and achieve the excellent academic results, are honored to receive the scholarship under the nomination of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

 With the direction of the University Party Committee and the Presidency Board, VNUA will continue to promote scholarships seeking and granting to VNUA students in 2019.
