On January 23, Vietnam National University of Agriculture organized a ceremony to award Nguyen Truong To Scholarship to disadvantaged students who have good academic performance.
Ms. Hoang Thi Bai, representative of the Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund and Mr. Vu Van Tuan, Deputy Director of the Political and Student Affairs Office (VNUA) awarded Nguyen Truong To scholarships to VNUA students

The Nguyen Truong To Scholarship is a scholarship program granted by the Vietnam Health, Education and Literature Projects (VNHelp) to support students from improvised background who have the strong will, good academic record with a scholarship worth US$250/student/year. The VNHelp has collaborated with the Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund to provide scholarships to thousands of students from many universities and colleges throughout the country. VNUA receives 10 Nguyen Truong To scholarships every academic year. These scholarships are extremely helpful and timely to encourage students in their studying and partly help them overcome family difficulties so that they can study better and continue to have good achievements during their studying at the university.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Hoang Thi Bai, a representative of the Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund, Dr. Nguyen Tat Thang, Acting Director and Mr. Vu Van Tuan, Deputy Director of the Political and Student Affairs Office. Dr. Nguyen Tat Thang, on behalf of VNUA, expressed his sincere thanks to the VNHelp Foundation, and the Vietnam Study Encouragement Fund for supporting valuable scholarships to students during recent eight years. He hopes that the support will be extended.

On behalf of the students who received Nguyen Truong To scholarships this time, Dinh Thi Hue, a third-year student in Business Management said: "I am really lucky to be one of the scholarship grantees. The scholarship is not only a material support but also a great encouragement for me to overcome toughness in life. It provides me a partial support for study expenses. I will study hard and strive to become an useful person for society in the future"
