On May 19, 2022, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) solemnly held the Doctoral Degree Awards Ceremony for 20 new PhD students.
Attending at the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee, VNUA president, the representative leaders of the Party Committee, the University Council, the Presidency Board, functional offices, advisors and representatives of faculties, including Animal Science, Economics and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering; 20 new PhDs and their family members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, VNUA Vice President congratulated the new PhDs and thanked them for choosing VNUA for their higher education. He also emphasized their efforts in overcoming various difficulties during their study and research during the Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years. He hoped that the new PhDs will continue research endeavor, keeping proactive, creative to become leading research experts in various fields of science in the future, and bringing Vietnam to the world integration.

On behalf of 20 new PhDs, Dr. Tran Van Khai - Doctor of Land Management, Member of the 15th National Assembly, Standing Member of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly sent his thanks and deep gratitude to the VNUA’s leaders, professors, doctors, scientists, teachers and staff for their guidance, support, caring to students. Dr. Tran Van Khai also sent his gratitude to the silent sharing and support of family members, colleagues and leaders at their working agencies for creating conditions for the new PhD students to complete their tasks and will continue to promote their spirit, creatively applying accumulated knowledge and scientific methods to continue to contribute to the development of the places where they are working for, and to the society, worthy to the PhD awarded.

After studying and researching at VNUA with the rigor in scientific research, their constant efforts, 20 PhD students have successfully completed their academic and research requirements and successfully defended the dissertation.
