On April 22, 2019, a delegation of Khon Kaen University, Thailand, with 43 students and 4 staff led by Assoc. Prof. PAINSAK PAKDEE, Acting Vice President for student development of Nong Khai Campus, visited Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) within the framework of the program "The 16th Enhancing Global Awareness for Khon Kaen University Student Leaders Program", annually organized by Khon Kaen University. This is the second time that Khon Kaen University selects VNUA as the only destination in Vietnam to visit.
Welcoming the delegation were Mrs. Le Thi Bich Lien, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Environment, former graduate student of Khon Kaen University, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Member of the Standing Committee of VNUA’s Youth Union, and VNUA’s students.

At the meeting, the two universities introduced their history of formation and development, their research and training activities, as well as their scientific and technological achievements in agriculture in recent years, especially collaborative activities in exchanging and training international students.
In addition, this is also an occasion for the delegates and students of the two universities to understand the culture of each country through the performances of students of the two universities, which did receive enthusiastic support from all participants.
