Officially Opening the University of Miyazaki Overseas Office at VNUA

On 9 March, 2015 the University of Miyazaki Overseas Office at Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) was officially opened right after the signing ceremony of the MOU on the establishment of the Office between VNUA and University of Miyazaki (UOM), Japan.Attending the ceremony were Dr. Tatsuo Suganuma, President of University of Miyazaki, Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Vien, VNUA’s President, Asso

UOM and VNUA first signed a cooperation agreement on training and research in agriculture in 2012. Since then, cooperative activities have been continuously enhanced. The official establishment of the University of Miyazaki Overseas Office has lifted mutual cooperation between the two sides to a higher level. The Office will collect and provide information on student and staff exchange programs between UOM and universities in Vietnam and requirements on entrance examination to UOM; carry out interviews for graduate school admission; support teaching and research activities of the staff and faculty of UOM; connect and support the University of Miyazaki alumni in Vietnam; and assist joint projects between the two universities and with other universities in Vietnam.
