Under the agreement, the Dual Degree Programs in Animal Sciences and Crop Science are in the form of 3 + 1 (3 years studying at VNUA and 1 year at CNU). The per year average cost of studying in Korea ranges from US $ 15,000 (equivalent to VND 330 million), which is not small and beyond the affordability of majority of VNUA students. To partially support students, the two sides reach an agreement that the students shall receive 50% tuition fee reduction for 1 year at CNU, making the cost of 1 year at CNU just about VND 130 million/student including tuition fee, daily living and transportation costs.

VNUA has been implementing several international joint training programs with the US, South Korea and Taiwan, etc. Participating in such joint training programs, students would obtain two university degrees. All these training programs at VNUA have been developed according to international standards, enabling students’ high English competency and soft skills, and providing them with new learning methods based on creative thinking, independence, self-discipline, and global thinking. Students when studying abroad will quickly catch up with the new life and environment as well as the training program at the partner university. This is one of the optimal solutions to shorten the gap in the quality of global human resources, meeting the goal of producing high quality human resources with high ability of international integration, adaptation to the 4.0 industrial working environment of VNUA.
