On June 14, 2024, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) solemnly organized the 2024 Job Fair and Business Connection Event. This was an annual event organized by VNUA to strengthen cooperation between the university and businesses as well as creating a bridge between businesses and students. This was also an opportunity for businesses to recruit high-quality young workers, and, at the same time, help students actively connect with potential employers, learn and understand the labor market to determine their future career development direction.
Special musical performances from the VNUA's Youth Union Performing Arts Team opened the 2024 Job Fair and Business Connection Event.
This year, the Job Fair and Business Connection Event offered many job opportunities from more than 50 businesses in diverse fields with recruitment booths for students so that they could directly experience and participate in the interviews.

Speaking at the opening of the 2024 Job Fair and Business Connection event, Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep, VNUA’s Vice President, emphasized that after 68 years of establishment and development, VNUA affirmed its position and strength in training high-quality human resources, serving as the national key university education institute and a reliable address for training and research for domestic and foreign partners and businesses.
From the annual recruitment results, VNUA always received comments and contributions from businesses on the quality of human resources in order to adjust the content of training programs; improve and enhance the quality of VNUA’s students in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet the human resource needs of the labor market.
Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep hoped that VNUA would continue to receive support from entrepreneurs, businesses and agencies in training and scientific research, especially in job introduction, developing soft skills and career skills for students.

At the event, Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy Secretary of the Group's Party Committee, Production Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Duc Hanh Marphavet BMG Group Joint Stock Company - Representative of participating businesses and sponsors, expressed his honor to accompany the 2024 Job Fair and Business Connection Event of Vietnam National University of Agriculture. Mr. Thanh hoped that VNUA would continue to maintain and organize more meaningful programs such as the Job Fair and Business Connection Event to create a bridge between educational institutions and businesses, helping to promote the recruitment and supply of human resources to the labor market.

Tran Duc Minh, a student of class K64KTTCE, Faculty of Economics and Rural Development, representing all VNUA’s students, expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Committee, Presidency Board, and lecturers for always listening and caring about the students, in particular, Duc Minh sent his thanks to businesses for always accompanying and creating conditions and job opportunities for VNUA’s students. He hoped that in the future, VNUA’s students would be accompanied and become officers and employees of businesses all over the country, dedicating their youth to the development of businesses and the country.

The Job Fair and Business Connection Event was an opportunity for VNUA’s students to better understand their own capabilities as well as the requirements of businesses when recruiting employees, and be confident to compete with other candidates when applying for jobs. According to survey results, the rate of VNUA’s students having jobs within 12 months after graduation reached over 97%.
