On January 28, 2019, the Cybermetrics Lab announced the Ranking Web of Universities in the first half of 2019. Accordingly, Vietnam National University of Agriculture ranks the seventh among Vietnam’s universities.

Among 4 ranking indicators, the impact rank of VNUA has increased dramatically with an increase of 4189 ranks (from 8853 in July 2018 down to 4664 this time).

In addition, the indicators "Openness", i.e. the number of citations from the top authors according to the Google Scholars and "Excellence" i.e. the number of papers among the top 10% most cited in 26 disciplines of VNUA continue to be improved. As a result, VNUA steps from the 11th position (July 2018) to the 7th (January 2019), which shows that the quality of international scientific publication as well as the impact of the online resource system of the university in the second half of 2018 has been improved incredibly.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, VNUA president praised the efforts of the presidency board, leaders and staff of all faculties, offices, and affiliated units in renewing and improving the quality of training, research, international cooperation and international publications as well the communication enhancement on the website, etc. The president believes that in 2019 with “Solidarity, constant efforts, to progress forever" by all leaders and staff, the website of the university will definitely become a leading reference site for training, scientific research and international cooperation both in and outside the country.
