On May 10, 2023, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) hold a meeting to welcome a delegation of officials and teachers from South Dakota State University including six teachers and twenty-eight students led by Prof. Bob Thaler, Dean of the Faculty of Livestock Production.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vinh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Animal Sciences, VNUA, expressed her pleasure when the delegation of staff and students from the South Dakota State University visited the university; briefly introduced the university and the Faculty of Animal Sciences as well as presented research and academic contents for further discussion of the two sides.
On behalf of South Dakota State University, Prof. Bob Thaler, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, gave an overview of the university in which emphasizes were given on the Faculty of Animal Science and the existing group of disciplines as well as the research topics that South Dakota State University was interested in.

During the meeting, in addition to the discussion around the research contents, the students from South Dakota State University also showed their interest in VNUA’s training programs and student exchange activities.
