Professor Jongwoon Kim presents his report.

Professor Jinwoon Ahn presents his report.

The first presentation analyzed Korea’s policies to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the era of artificial intelligence development and technological transformation. It also discussed the impact of technological advancement on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in product development, productivity enhancement, and market expansion. In addition, the presentation evaluated the role of SMEs in Korea’s socio-economic development and analyzed government policies aimed at fostering and supporting entrepreneurship and innovation among SMEs.

The second presentation examined the current demographic crisis in Korea, including population aging and low fertility rates. It identified key socio-economic impacts of this crisis, such as labor shortages, declining consumer demand, challenges in social security and pension systems, reduced national defense capacity, rural-to-urban migration, and school closures due to declining student numbers. Based on these analyses, the presenter drew lessons and proposed policy recommendations for Vietnam to promote sustainable socio-economic development.
