INTERNATIONAL BACHELOR PROGRAM IN ECONOMICS - FINANCE
JOINTLY HELD BY VIETNAM NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE (VNUA)
AND MASSEY UNIVERSITY (NEW ZEALAND)
On August 18, 2021, Vietnam National University of Agriculture and Massey University (New Zealand) has signed an articulation agreement on international undergraduate program in Economics - Finance. The Bachelor’s Degree will be granted by Massey University (Top 300 in the World). The program consists of 2 phases (Phase 1 at VNUA and Phase 2 at Massey). It is in line with the needs of studying abroad in the period of post Covid-19 pandemic, the pace of integration into the world of students who have just graduated from high school, and the economic status of families in developing country.

PLANNING YOUR PROGRAMME
The program is developed by Massey University according to New Zealand's higher education standards and is subject to strict evaluation by the New Zealand Accredition Authority. The stydy loads are evenly distributed for the 2 phases in, accordingly:
• Phase 1 (1.5 years – Studying at VNUA): Basic knowledge of Economics - Finance taught in English by leading professors, associate professors, and doctors of VNUA.
• Phase 2 (1.5 years - Studying at Massey): Specialized knowledge in Economics - Finance taught by professors, associate professors of Massey University.
Massey University grants a Bachelor's degree in Economics - Financce, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. At the end of Phase 1, if students are not eligible (IELTS score of below 5.0 and insufficient finance resource (about 18,000USD/year), etc. to go to New Zealand to attend Phase 2 of the Programme, they may continue to study the Bachelor program in Financial Economics (English Program) or Business Administration (Advanced Program) or any other Bachelor programs available at VNUA in about 2 years and are awarded Bachelor's Degree by VNUA.
TUITION FEES
· Phase 1: Tuition fees are calculated as for students enrolled in Financial Economics (English Program) at VNUA (Approx. 1,500 USD/year for international students; 1,200 USD/year for local students)
· Phase 2: Tuition fees are as prescribed by Massey University for international students in Business (click here).
GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
· Students and applicants at VNUA are given priority by Massey University with partial scholarships worth 15% of the tuition fee for the second phase;
· In addition, Massey University offers international students a variety of other talented scholarships (click here).
· Student will be provided Massey ID to enjoy online utilities of Massey University;
· Opportunity of working VISA for students (20 hours/week and unlimited vacations);
· 3-year VISA opportunity to work in New Zealand after graduation.
