The Porcine Reproductive & Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS)- Blue ear virus with complicated and unpredictable occurrence has caused heavy economic losses to pig raising farmers. Promptly capturing urgent need to respond to it, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA) has been quickly engaging in monitoring, diagnosing, and investigating the evolution of the PRRS virus on pigs. Under the training collaboration between the University of Yamagata (YU) and Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA) established since 2008, Voluntary Japanese Classes delivered by YU students have been held at HUA during the academic year 2012 – 2013 (from 01/4/2012 to 31/3/2013).
