Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) has recently hold the event entitled " Scientific Research Journey: From Lecture Halls to International Publications". This important event was organized in celebration of Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18) and served as a summary of student scientific research activities for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The event not only honored outstanding achievements but also served as a platform to connect students with lecturers, fostering a strong spirit of scientific inquiry within the veterinary medicine student community.

“Scientific Research Journey: From Lecture Halls to International Publications” attracts interest from many students.

At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Tran Anh Dao, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, VNUA, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the role of scientific research in developing critical thinking and fostering students' creativity.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Tran Anh Dao affirmed that research was not a privilege reserved for only the most outstanding students, but rather an opportunity open to anyone who dared to ask questions, to doubt, to take action, and to persist on the path of knowledge. Scientific publications, awards, and research projects often began with the simplest, most everyday questions raised by students.

In the annual report on scientific research activities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam stated that VNUA had achieved many positive results with research projects of high academic value. Some student groups had published internationally and won awards at various scientific research competitions both domestically and overseas. These achievements not only affirmed students’ capabilities but also demonstrated the close support and guidance of the lecturers in inspiring and mentoring research.

In the thematic presentation entitled "From Idea to Scientific Publication", Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Giap, drawing from his extensive experience, shared the full process of developing a research project, from formulating ideas and research questions to data collection and writing a scientific paper that met international standards. These valuable practical insights helped students better understand the academic journey and learn how to gradually reach the global audience.

The event serves as a platform to connect students with lecturers, fostering a spirit of scientific research within the veterinary student community.

In the open talk session "From the Classroom to International Publication," a friendly and open atmosphere was created, where lecturers answered students' practical questions and shared valuable experiences to help them confidently enter the world of professional research.

With over 300 students in attendance, the program was not only a place to ignite academic passion but also a launching pad for creative research ideas. It served as clear evidence that veterinary students were fully capable of reaching international scientific forums if they had been provided with the right guidance and given appropriate development opportunities.

For veterinary students, the journey of scientific research was no longer out of reach. With curiosity, passion, and a progressive mindset, anyone could start their one journey with a simple question and gradually achieve success through scientific publications.
