The AEON Scholarship was part of a broader initiative to strengthen goodwill and friendship among Asian countries through financial support for university students. By the end of 2024, the program had awarded scholarships to students from seven countries, namely Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, China, and Japan. As of 2025, a total of 96 students from VNUA had received scholarships from the AEON 1% Club Foundation. The scholarship was awarded to third-year students with excellent academic records, active contributions to youth union and community service activities, and strong participation in domestic and international academic exchange programs. Students would continue to receive the scholarship in their fourth year if they maintained excellent or very good academic and conduct performance.
Funded by one of over 200 organizations and enterprises partnering with VNUA, the AEON Scholarship provided not only essential financial support but also strong motivation for students, helping them focus on their studies, engage in scientific research, and develop their abilities through social activities. This created a solid foundation for their comprehensive personal and professional development.
